Suatu komunikasi data antar PC dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan berbagai macam
interface I/O. Pada PC terdapat interface:
1. serial
2. parallel
3. network, yang biasa disebut Ethernet

ETHERNET CABLE UTP
Untuk menghubungkan jaringan diperlukan kabel Ethernet yaitu kabel yang digunakan disebut kabel
UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) dengan menggunakan konektor RJ45. Kabel UTP mempunyai delapan pin (4
pasang).
· Pin1 dengan warna hijau-putih (TD+)
· Pin2 dengan warna hijau (TD-)
· Pin3 dengan warna orange-putih (RD+)
· Pin4 dengan warna biru (NC)
· Pin5 dengan warna biru-putih (NC)
· Pin6 dengan warna orange (RD-)
· Pin7 dengan warna coklat-putih (NC)
· Pin8 dengan warna coklat (NC)

Ada tiga cara pemasangan kabel UTP:
1. Straigh Through
Pengkabelan jenis ini biasanya diperuntukkan untuk menghubungkan peralatan yang berbeda jenis.
Misal untuk menghubungkan PC dengan hub, switch dan router, switch dan PC dan sebagainya.
2. Cross Over
Pengkabelan jenis ini biaanya digunakan untuk menghubungkan peralatan sejenis. Misal
untuk menghubungkan PC dengan PC, hub dengan hub dan sebagainya.
3. Rollover
Pengkabelan jenis ini merupakan pengkabelan khusus. Misalnya untuk menghubungkan
antar switch.

Prof. Dr. M.Suyanto, MM lahir di Madiun, 20 Februari 1960 dan menikah dengan Dra. Anisah Aini serta mempunyai 2 orang putra, yaitu Zidna Ilma Azzahra dan Mohammad Abdan Syakura.

Pendidikan S1 dari FMIPA Fisika Universitas Gajah Mada diselesaikan 1987 dan S2 dari Magister Manajemen. Universitas Gajah Mada lilus 1993. mendapat gelar PhD in Management (USA, 1998) dan telah menyelesaikan Program Doktor (S3) di bidang Ilmu Ekonomi di Universitas Airlangga Surabaya pada 2007.

Remastering Linux

 Linux Distro very much. one type is Slackware. Slackware is one of the old distro. But though an old man, a tutorial on modifying or creating linux distro with Slackware distro very little basis. Mandatory Use of State Document Format ODF

After all of the computers in government agencies migrate to Open Source completed in late 2011, the government also plans to migrate all important documents using the state-owned open document format (open document format / ODF).
